International WaterCentre – Education, Training, Research and Consultancy

International WaterCentre undertakes education, training, research and consulting activities to promote integrated and whole-of-water cycle approaches to water management. IWC aims to be a leader in promoting new ways of thinking about water management, consciously encouraging people to acknowledge the multi-dimensional nature of future water challenges and the critical role culture, politics and society have in shaping solutions. Recognising that water management requires experts from fields as diverse as sociology, science, economics and engineering, IWC brings together specialists from its four Australian university partners in University of Queensland, Griffith University, Monash University, and University of Western Australia, to tackle water problems through interdisciplinary solutions.

Our Masters of Integrated Water Management is one of our most important education initiatives. The program educates water professionals in integrated approaches that will drive future responses to the global water crisis, and equips students with the strategic, managerial and technical skills they need to advance their careers in the water sector.
